Another obscure find somewhere in blogland, some time ago and this is the first time I have actually got round to listening to it. Slightly above average English blues and jazz influenced organ driven progressive rock, with plenty of good guitaring throughout. Mostly extended jamming with some not so strong singing. Album opens with the overblown and over long 18 minute song suit "One Step On" and although ok, it meanders a bit and is hard to stay interesting  the "Paint It Black" part is indeed  a cover of The Rolling  Stones track. "Rock 'n' Roll Man " is about Chuck Berry but sung to his Johnny B Goode, the weakest track.  "Night Today" and "Little Message" are the two highlights here and would be welcome in conclusions in any Prog collections, although the Jazzy "Night Today" is let down by the vocals. "Little Messages" has an excellent organ intro and great guitaring as well as so soulful brass giving it a slight Mowtown feel.
There is plenty to enjoy about this album and I am rating it 3/5.
