An Uncle Roddus Album Review
Norah Jones great little side project returns with a second album after their self titled debut in 2006 and this set has finally arrived in the mail from Amazon after I failed to find it in the shops locally.
A fun and laid back set of mostly covers of country songs played by a suburb quartet of musicians. The playing is suburb and the recording is outstanding and well polished. Norah is a Goddess and a has a great voice and I am almost tempted to check out some of hers solo stuff, almost. If you are familiar with The Carolina Chocolate Drops, The Little Willies are similar but not quite as authentic but 10 times better.
My Rating 4.5/5
