So unfortunately I bought this album because I was under the impression that it was not included in the complete studio recordings box set, and that is an accurate statement. But the fact is that all the music on this original release was actually all the hardcore stuff culled from the Debut album"Naked City" and the rest of the album was reissued and added to the "Grand Guignol" Album, which was only released in Japan at the time, I think! So all these tracks are actually available on the Complete Recordings Box Set, including "Leng Tch'e" which was also only released in Japan but later tacked onto this 20th anniversary release. Phew!
42 songs in 26 minutes makes for a real musical rollercoaster ride with some of these fast and furious numbers covering several genres within 1 minute or less. It's an interesting listen but even at 26 minutes, it seems a long time and I prefer less of these numbers in the context of the other albums they are on.
