I was so impressed to see another excellent Soundway compilation available from one of our local CD stores, while I was browsing there between earthquakes, that I had to procure it for my collection of Afro compilations. Soundway never fail to come up with great comps of  Afro funk and rock and this latest collection is no exception. As the title suggests, this collection is more Rock orientated and has the guitar at the forefront of most of these tracks, instead of Sax or trumpet. There is some great psychedelic guitar pyrotechnics here, especially on the first half of CD1. CD2  is a bit more funkier, but still rocks with the best of side one. A long collection full of great songs which grow better with familiarity, but does get a bit tedious over the whole 2 CDs with some of the lesser tracks bringing it down, but in saying that almost all the songs stand up well on their own. I will rate this collection 4/5
