The Sun Ra Discography.
A jump ahead in time and a major difference in style for this Sun Ra album. The title track is a cohesive sounding mellow atmospheric funk tinged track that is nice on the ears before we get down and really funky a-la Funkadelic, for "UFO", eight minutes of out there funk that grooves well but kinda gets a bit tedious in the middle."Seductive Fantasy" is the epic of this set at over 18 minutes and is a more conventional Sun Ra soundscape. Jazzy and laid back with some nice sax over the cool rhythm section. A nice and mellow Ra offering and certainly one that is far more accessible than his usual fare. Rating 4/5.
