Bit of a mixed bag, this one, late 60 pop with a tinge of psychedelia and a touch of jazz among other things. Some good tracks, with "Jacqueline" being a highlight with its cool base lines and nifty guitar riff, " The Walrus and the Horse" is a nice organ driven, jazz tinged instrumental, a sort of lightweight Deep Purple. "Glory" is quite an uplifting anthem. The title track  and "Mandy" I can defiantly live without and the cover of  one of the Beatles weaker tracks is played pretty straight, which begs the question why bother. The rest is defiantly interesting and again more rewarding on closer listening. This is another album that, although it has some interesting moments, failed to really fire my enthusiasm. My overall rating 2.5/5.

PS This is the English late 60s POP Spectrum, not the Aussie early 70s Spectrum.
